7.65mm Parabellum. 4.625″ barrel length. SN: 8450. Single-action semi-automatic pistol with removable 8-shot wood knob magazine, grip safety, and fixed sights. Blued finish to slide and long frame, strawed accoutrements, and checkered walnut grips. Features (Swiss cross in sunburst) proof to front of breech, with standard DWM manufacturer mark to top of center toggle link. Swiss (Cross acceptance) proofs are marked to butt of slide, and to left of slide and barrel. There is also a P 34 Privatwaffen mark to left of slide. Serial numbers are marked under barrel and to front of frame, with partial serial numbers marked to butt of center toggle link and under grips. Safety is unmarked. Includes Swiss-style leather P.08 holster marked (K.L. FUCHS/SATTLER/INTERLAKEN) in oval to backside, with the name Hans Schild penned to inside of flap. All serial numbers match on this pistol, and indicate it was manufactured sometime in 1906.
