9mm, 4″ barrel, S/N 1024a. Blued finish, strawed small parts, checkered wood grips. Toggle marked SIMPSON & Co / SUHL with {Droop-Winged Eagle}/6 inspection, which appears throughout the pistol, {Droop-Winged Eagle}/RC on face of triggerguard. Matching numbers throughout, including the single aluminum bottom magazine, no chamber date, lug on backstrap for shoulder stock. Includes a brown hardshell holster maker marked by AUWAERTER BUBECK dated 1934. An unmarked takedown tool is in the holster as well. A rare example of a Weimar Era German military Luger by a very desirable maker.
